Silent Hill f is the eighth main installment in the iconic survival horror franchise. Unlike its predecessors, the game takes players to Japan, where they will explore the mysterious town of Ebisugaoka. To survive this chilling adventure, you will have to fight grotesque monstrosities and use your gray cells to solve puzzles blocking your path.

New scary story

The game is set in the 1960s and introduces a brand-new protagonist. We will assume the role of a young girl called Shimizu Hinako, who discovers that most of the inhabitants of her hometown have mysteriously disappeared. However, Ebisugaoka is not entirely desolate because grotesque yet deadly monsters roam its streets. Hinako must face those living nightmares to stay alive and uncover the roots of this evil.

Release date and platforms

Silent Hill f was developed by NeoBards Entertainment and published by Konami. They officially announced the game in October 2022. The release date was revealed much later, in June 2025, when players learned that the new entry in the Silent Hill saga would come out on September 25, 2025. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
