On July 14, 2025, EA Sports revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be the star of the Ultimate Edition's cover. Two days later, the developer announced that the game would come out on September 26, 2025, and the Ultimate Edition holders would get access to the game a week earlier, on September 19. EA Sports FC 26 is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
